Setting up the Plugin

Unreal Engine plugin is under intense development, so this page might change in the future. Please contact us at support@lightact.com if you encounter any difficulties.

To set up the plugin there are the following steps you need to do:

  1. place and set up LightAct Runtime actor into the scene.

  2. Create LightActTimeStep asset and set it as a Custom Time Step provider.

  3. Create LightActTimeCode asset and set it as a Timecode provider.
