Tracker Visualizer

LightAct's Tracker Visualizer is a powerful technology that combines location tracking and data visualization. It allows users to map the movements of people or objects and convert this information into captivating visual displays that respond to user interactions in real-time.

Creating a Tracking Visualizer

To place a Tracking Visualizer on the Viewport, drag its dedicated icon from the toolbar menu and drop it somewhere on the Viewport.
Good to know: You can also just click on the Tracking Visualizer icon to place it on a random Viewport location.

Tracking Visualizer Properties

You can access the Tracking Visualizers' Properties by selecting it on the Viewport and opening the Properties window.

General Properties

Under the General section, you can rename or manually change the position or rotation of the Tracking Visualizer object. You can also toggle between visible/hidden and locked/unlocked.

Content Properties

Under the Content section, you can choose your desired Tracker device. The Tracker device list consists of all Tracker receiver device nodes which you have placed in the Devices window. In our case, we will choose the BlackTrax receiver as our Tracker device.
To visualize the beacons from your tracking environment in LightAct, you can enable the Draw beacon pyramids checkbox. Here, you can declare the number of beacons which are actively sending their location. Next, type the unique beacon IDs, separating each one from the next with a comma. With your Tracking device node enabled, the beacons will inherit their correct position.
For example, in our BlackTrax tracking environment, we have placed seven beacons, which are all moving in a circular motion.
Good to know: The tracking mechanism in Antilatency technology involves the use of markers, rather than beacons. When using an Antilatency receiver node, make sure to enable the Draw marker pyramids checkbox.

Rendering Properties

In this section you can change the color of the Tracking Visualizer object. If you enable the Show Label checkbox, you will notice that each beacon and/or marker of the Tracker Visualizer object will have its unique ID displayed.
