Deltacast Setup

This page explains how to install DELTACAST drivers, configure the card, and use it in LightAct.

User manuals can be found in Deltacast download center under Documentations section.

Installation and Setup

1. Make sure your computer is turned off.

2. Insert the Deltacast card into an available PCIe slot.

3. For FLEX modules, ensure proper connection to the Gateway card.

4. Turn on the computer.

5. Download and install appropriate Deltacast VideoMaster.exe and dCARE application from Deltacast download center under Redist & Drivers and Applications sections.

Firmware check

1. Open dCARE and verify the correct firmware version of your card/module.

2. Update if necessary using Deltacast VideoMaster.exe.

Use in Lightact

1. Open LightAct, then open Devices window.

2. Add Deltacast Receiver/Sender node

3. Select Deltacast Board and appropriate I/O port and click Receive.
