# Deltacast Setup

## **Installation and Setup**

1. Make sure your computer is turned off.
2. Insert the Deltacast card into an available PCIe slot.
3. For FLEX modules, ensure proper connection to the Gateway card.
4. Turn on the computer.
5. Download and install appropriate **Deltacast VideoMaster.exe** and **dCARE** application from Deltacast [**download center**](https://www.deltacast.tv/support/download-center/) under **Redist & Drivers** and **Applications** sections.

#### **Firmware check**

1. Open dCARE and verify the correct firmware version of your card/module.
2. Update if necessary using **Deltacast VideoMaster.exe**.

#### Use in Lightact

1. Open LightAct, then open Devices window.
2. Add Deltacast Receiver/Sender node
3. Select Deltacast Board and appropriate I/O port and click Receive.
